Fitout and Refurbishment Contractor
Are you happy in your current role?
This time of year, job adverts boast plenty about new and exciting opportunities, often with busy contractors, and talk about a new challenge for the new year.
Following this Monday, a day dubbed Blue Monday', we can't underestimate the importance of job satisfaction.
Job satisfaction doesn't just come from being challenged or being busy, but also from the people you spend your days with; your colleagues and your clients.
We're currently looking for a Quantity Surveyor to join a main contractor that we've worked with since they entered Scotland years ago. Hands-down, they are one of the most likeable groups of people we have the pleasure of dealing with and the feedback from their employees has always been testament to how enjoyable the environment is.
As a business, they specialise in fitout and refurbishment projects for retail clients and supermarkets. Engaging with most key clients by way of frameworks, some experience on measured-term contracts and dealing with a schedule of rates would be helpful to any applicant who might consider this position.
Whilst their culture is one to be proud of, we wouldn't undersell their success either. This is a reliably busy sector, so there's no shortage of work or challenges day-to-day, but the work is ultimately rewarding and built on long-term business relationships with like-minded construction professionals.
What will make you successful in this role?
• You must have demonstrable experience working as a Quantity Surveyor in the construction industry
• Experience with fitout projects and/or retail projects will be nearly essential
• Experience with measured-term contracts or schedules of rates with be advantageous
• Attitude is of the utmost importance!
We would be happy to tell you more about this or the many other opportunities we have at the moment for commercial staff! Submit your CV or get in contact for a confidential chat about your situation.
