Contract Scotland has an excellent opportunity for a Receptionist to work on a temporary basis for our client, based in Glasgow City Centre. This is a short term, temporary assignment where you will provide holiday cover for the Reception area.

The hours of work will be 8.30am to 5pm Monday to Thursday and Friday 8.30am to 3pm.

Working as part of the Facilities Team in their modern and vibrant City Centre office you will provide reception and administrative support for the business.

Your duties will include:
  • Answering all phone calls and transferring to the relevant person
  • Meeting and greeting visitors to the office ensuring they sign in and out
  • Booking meetings and updating information in the diary
  • Arranging refreshments for meetings, where required
  • Opening and distributing mail
  • Dealing with any outgoing mail
  • Carrying out associated administrative tasks, as required

This is a fantastic opportunity to earn some money and develop your experience within an office environment. You will be a confident communicator and will ideally have some reception or customer service experience. You will have the ability to remain calm under pressure and will understand the importance of prioritising your workload to ensure all tasks are dealt with, in agreed timescales. The role would suit someone who has a good knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
