Even after 27 years of being in business, we've continued to grow at a meaningful pace and all our plans are for that to continue. But to achieve that we need the right people as part of our successful, highly-motivated and close-knit team, so we want you to join us as a Recruitment Resourcer.

Maybe you're currently working as a Recruitment Resourcer/Administrator within the recruitment sector, or have carried out the role in the past? Perhaps you're working in a different industry at the moment but wonder if you might have what it takes to succeed within the recruitment industry?

Many people aren't sure if recruitment is for them and wonder if it's really like some of the stories they've heard from friends and family. Here's the good news - it can be done differently and you need to let us show you how.

Our team is almost 50 people strong and between us we share over 250 years of experience in the recruitment of construction professionals, so you'll be mentored by some of the best in our industry. We broke records in 2016 and 2017, owing to the strength of our brand, experience and determination of our recruitment team, within which we have pretty much zero staff turnover - well above the industry norm.

We're the largest independent provider of technical and professional staff to the construction & engineering industry in Scotland, with an enviable reputation for developing and retaining staff. No hire and fire culture here. We provide our team with a career and develop their skills to enable them to provide a truly excellent service which has resulted in year on year growth. Trusted by both clients and job seekers, we need skilled people who can listen to client and candidate needs and deliver realistic recruitment solutions.

In joining us you'll be part of a company which has won several awards for customer service, candidate care, being a socially responsible lot and just generally for being a great place to work, aw shucks! You'll need to be sharp and self-motivated, with strong organisational skills, and will require effective communication & social skills to build, maintain and enhance mutually beneficial working relationships. We don't cut corners here, so you'll also need an uncompromising attention to detail and the desire to meet the high expectations of both our clients and candidates.

You'll need to demonstrate your ability throughout what will be a thorough interview process, but let's start with your CV. Julie celebrated a decade with Contract Scotland in August 2017! That is a whole lot of knowledge on recruitment, construction and freelance employment! Since day one at Contract, Julie has worked in the freelance division. She thrives on working in fast paced environments (you know those “it’s Friday afternoon, but can I have an Engineer on a Monday” scenarios) so it suits her perfectly. Julie now manages our freelance division having started as a Recruitment Consultant. She reckons this is her biggest success. However​, Spring 2016 saw the company reach the highest number of freelance workers in the company’s history and without such a great team here, we wouldn’t have reached such a milestone.
