Do you dream of working in the country selling great quality homes?

Our Client provides developers with a wide range of property services including Sales, Lettings and Development across Edinburgh and the Lothians. This specific campaign is to appoint a Sales Executive for an exciting development in the heart of the tweed valley with a developer with a reputation for building first class homes for their customers. Hours of work follow the traditional patterns of Thursday to Monday 10:30am to 5pm. Attractive basic salary and competitive OTE for the region is available.

This business works in partnership with a number of key developers in the Edinburgh/Borders area so it would also be helpful if you were able to demonstrate a strong knowledge of property trends and be confident and capable in utilising IT systems, as effective management of the centralised database is key to the role. While being ambitious and growing this client has managed to maintain their family feel so being a good team player is also integral to success in this role.

You will need demonstrable experience of the following:
  • Managing Client Relationships across all levels
  • High-End New Home Sales experience
  • Co-ordinating with Solicitors
  • Providing useful insight to discerning Customers
  • Balancing the sales requirements with good customer service
  • Negotiating with the Site Based Team

This role would suit those who are tired of a regular commute to Edinburgh, who share a love of the country and enjoy working independently.

Samantha Pettigrew has been with Contract Scotland since 2007 beginning her career within the permanent division. She spent her first years cutting her teeth in the SME sector before moving across to the housing division where she succeeded in building relationships with several key players in the industry. Whilst day to day responsibility for these sectors falls to her colleagues, she remains actively involved from a management perspective. Samantha’s primary focus at present is managing the expansion of our New Homes Sales Staffing Division within the Housing and Property Sector at Contract Scotland as a result of demand from existing clients. She spends much of her time working with her clients and bringing her own personal touch to any recruitment campaign she works on.
