Contract Scotland are working closely with a unique large civil engineering contractor who are looking to bolster their site delivery team by bringing on board a Senior Site Engineer to support the delivery of their new project on the RAF Lossiemouth site. This is a business who’ve secured a health portfolio of works in the groundworks & infrastructure sectors that have big plans for increased tendering in the next few years in Scotland.
This job is at the stage of WWTW, so experience in the water industry is desired but not essential.
You’ll have the responsibility of overseeing a couple of Engineers as well as taking on paperwork and office duties, working closely with the site management team to work in partnership with them in looking at new projects and addressing any technical queries.
Responsibilities will include, but will not be limited to:
• Quality Assurance
• Carrying out precise works to project specifications
• Preparation of risk assessments and method statements
• Ensure that safety targets and standards are maintained at all times
• Ensure that quality standards and health & safety standards are met at all times.

What do you need to apply?
It is essential you have proven industry experience in civil engineering and construction projects. As a Senior Engineer will also need to have the ability to meet deadlines, be competent in information technology, have key communication/problem solving skills and have the capability of leading a team as well as being a team player.
