As a Senior FM Engineer for this business you will be responsible for managing a small team carrying out primarily electrical (planned and reactive) maintenance as required by the Operational and Customer Support teams. You will be supervising the team working on planned maintenance of building fabric and reactive repairs of commercial mechanical plant, electrical building services and associated equipment.

·Observing Planned Preventative Maintenance while ensuring statutory compliance is met at all times
·Managing engineers ensuring PPM tasks are completed on time
·Assisting with Authorised Person' duties on certain disciplines such as HV/LV, Ventilation and PSSR
·Arranging and leading start up & debrief meetings
·Assisting the management team with estimating additional works for clients
·In client buildings carry out Electrical planned or reactive works, including minor works, repairs, fault finding and fault diagnosis
·Knowledge of the Electrical Installation Regulations (17th/18th Edition Regs) is required in order to ensure these are adhered to at all times, and that the appropriate materials are used.
·The ideal candidate will be competent on all aspects of electrical installation works of both 230v and 400v.
·Working with operational teams to meet operational targets.
·Ensure all works are carried out to a high standard while in accordance with Health and Safety Standards
·Recording all progress through IT.
·Interpretation of engineering drawings and building plans.
·Attend relevant meetings with construction parties including the client

·A full clean driving licence will be required as the role will involve some driving in company vehicles to visit sites.
·An Electrical Qualification
·Experience within a facilities management environment
·Proven ability to supervise a team
·Health Care experience would be advantageous
·The successful applicant clearing a PVG Disclosure check
Working hours will be based on a rotational shift pattern and will include weekend work and participation in an on-call rota. Flexibility in daily working hours will be a requirement but reasonable notice will be given in advance.
