A quantity surveying role with a bespoke developer in the Great Glasgow region
An opportunity for a quantity surveyor with strong housebuilding experience to join a 5-star housebuilder in the west central belt
Senior Quantity Surveyor
We are currently looking for a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join an award winning team in Glasgow. If you are thinking of changing over to this busy sector, I couldn’t think of many better companies to do it with.
You will be working within a fairly large team in Glasgow, working and running your own new build residential sites.
Long gone are the days of managing “boxes in fields” as you will be involved in working on seriously complex, flagship developments from a build and civils perspective – so no repetitiveness here!
To be considered for this role, you’ll need to come from a residential background. What you must have, is experience in new build from the ground up including knowledge of roads, sewers and drainage.
With a qualification in Quantity Surveying, or other relevant area of study you must have a high proficiency with various computer packages including Microsoft Office products and experience using bespoke land appraisal software would be beneficial. You should be familiar with current standards and Building regulations and have first class communication and organisational skills.
You are likely to have 5+ years of experience within the construction industry, and while time spent with another residential may be preferable, flexibility of thinking and transferable skills are more important to us.
In return, this company offers what we would regard as the industry’s highest salary and benefit package so hard work doesn’t go unrewarded. If you are interested in hearing more about this role, please feel free to contact Nicola Monro on 01786 446651 quoting J42698.
