Our client is well-respected and established multi-disciplinary civil engineering contractor with a wealth of work lined up throughout Scotland, now is an exciting time to join the company. As part of this secured workload, they need to appoint an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to join the team who will play an integral role in the development of the company's growth and diversification. This role will allow you to get experience working on a wide range of high value civils elements including power, energy, flood prevention and infrastructure projects.

What will you be responsible for?
  • Overseeing in the procurement of subcontractors.
  • Lead junior members of staff when required
  • Prepare and coordination on procurement documentation
  • Measurement, valuation and final accounts
  • Interacting with any project members as required for projects
  • Preparation and coordination of claim coordination
  • Cost/value reconciliation and reporting of this
  • Interact with client

What do you need to apply?
  • Relevant qualifications within Quantity Surveying
  • Previous experience within a similar role
  • Experience within the Civil Engineering sector
  • Organisation skills required for managing multiple projects at one time
  • Good interpersonal & negotiation skills, as well as the ability to liaise with both internal and external stakeholders.
