Role Overview:

Contract Scotland is seeking experienced Senior Setting Out Site Engineer to join our client’s team on a permanent basis. The successful candidates will be involved in a substation project in Dounreay.

 Key Responsibilities:

  • Setting out and surveying the site.
  • Ability to lead the team of engineers.
  • Implementing strategies as discussed with management.
  • Checking plans, drawings and quantities for accuracy of calculations.
  • Overseeing quality control and health and safety matters on site.
  • Obtain permits and warrants.
  • Ensure that the company quality procedures are maintained at all times.
  • Seek to complete project on time and within budget.
  • Supporting the team, and any other site engineering duties as required.

Requirements:

  • Experience in civil engineering projects.
  • Pervious experience managing a team of engineers.
  • Previous experience on substation projects.
  • Setting out experience.
  • Valid CSCS Card.
  • Full UK driving license and own transport.
  • Willingness to travel as required.
  • SMSTS certification.
