Senior Structural Design Engineer
We are working with a medium sized, privately owned design consultancy who are looking for a Senior Structural Design Engineer to join their team in Glasgow. This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing company which has consolidated its place within the public and private sectors.
As Senior Design Engineer, you will be involved in and take the lead on a number of public and private building developments. You will carry out Structural Engineering assessments and inspections; co-ordinate and formulate technical reports and structural surveys; ensure that technical outputs such as drawings are consistently maintained to a high level and work with members of the design team to achieve and exceed client objectives.
The role will also involve leading and managing junior members of staff, helping them develop their skills and expertise as they progress in their careers with the business. What will you need?
·Degree qualified in Civil / Structural Engineering or equivalent
·Chartered status (MICE or MIStructE) or ambition to attain this
·Experience within a similar role
·Excellent communication skills due to the high level of client interaction and report writing
