A new opportunity has arisen for a Site Manager to work for one of the UK's largest concrete specialists working in the North East of England. The role will be initially based on site working on a large building project in the Sunderland area then multiple projects in this region thereafter. As Site Manager you will be required to encourage a safety and quality focused culture throughout the business as well as embracing innovative methodologies, this contractor has been able to establish themselves as a leading player within their field.

Duties and responsibilities will include:
  • Agreeing and adhering to site programmes
  • Planning and organising all labour on site, including Sub Contractors
  • Maintaining high safety standards
  • Liaise with client representatives and other stakeholders, ensuring a high level of customer service
  • Keeping site records and registers up to date
  • Supervising and managing of concrete pours on site

To apply for this position you should have:
  • A minimum of HND level qualification in Civil Engineering or equivalent
  • Previous experience in concrete works
  • A good level of technical knowledge within civil engineering
  • Sound contractual awareness
  • A serious commitment to promoting a positive safety culture on site and possess relevant, up to date safety qualifications
