Small Works Supervisor
Seeking a Contracts Supervisor for a well-established, privately owned building contractor who have an exceptional reputation in the Perth, Fife, Tayside & Angus area who has extensive knowledge and experience in managing multiple small works projects.
Our client, who have a developed reputation for project delivery and a high level of service to their clients are one of the most stable and secure Building Contractors in the region who on top of their traditional contracting work have a defined smaller works division which conducts projects from £10k-£100k in value including refurbishment, extensions and replacement works primarily across longer term secured frameworks with various local councils and other public authorities. Projects will involve a range of works both commercial and residential and the role itself will require the contracts supervisor to operate in a roaming role where you'd be responsible for numerous projects at any given time.
The role itself will involve a lot of client facing duties where communication with clients to report on project progress and any potential issues will be vitally important to your success in the role. We're looking for someone who can prepare and manage project programme whilst having full responsibility for organising labour, plant and materials as well as managing all health & safety paperwork and issues which may arise on site. Essentially your role involves the day to day site management of various smaller works projects across a variety of sectors across multiple trades therefore the role requires the individual to be well organised and have a well developed technical knowledge of various construction trades.
In return, the successful applicant will receive an annual salary between £36k-£38k per annum + car allowance and pension contribution.
