Structural Technician - Building Structures
A long-established Engineering Design Consultancy with expertise in Civil/Structural design for new building developments, refurbishment and renovation are looking to add a Structural Technician to join their Aberdeen based team. This interesting role would ideally be suited to experienced Revit Technicians but if you are a CAD Technician looking to gain more experience in 3D/BIM working then this will provide you the opportunity to learn. As a Structural Technician your duties and responsibilities will include but not be limited to the production of detailed drawings and 3D models for structures, covering a range of building materials from concrete, steel and timber materials.
You will liaise with the engineering team, architects, M&E designers, clients and other project stakeholders to ensure the delivery of fully integrated models. • Educated to a minimum of HNC level in a Civil Engineering (or equivalent)
• Experience in a design consultancy environment with specific expertise in building structures
• Proficient in the use of AutoCAD software
• Some exposure to Revit Structure software would be desirable
