Our client has an exciting opportunity for a Sub Agent, known as a Scheme Project Manager to join their Scottish division based in South Lanarkshire – and there has never been a better time to join
Working within the Lineside Civils team, the suitable candidate will have experience of railway related civils experience, such as level crossings, reinforced concrete foundation installation for railway furniture (TSC, REB etc), slope stabilisation, piling and lineside drainage activities.
Related civils experience without railway knowledge will also be considered if other relevant experience is value adding
The Lineside Civils team’s current work bank includes the following:
- Slope stabilisation including slope regrade, temporary sheet piling, masonry repairs, and ground anchors.
- Installation of sheet piling wall, with capping beams and subsequent excavations for concrete slab.
- Deep drainage works including drainage runs and interceptor tanks.
- Drainage and culvert work including under track crossings (UTX).
- Off track culvert and retain wall repairs.
The Ideal Candidate:
- Excellent working knowledge of IT systems, specifically Microsoft Office suite
- SMSTS 5 Day Site Safety certified
- PTS certified
- Full driving licence
- Excellent communication skills
- The ability to challenge in a constructive and positive manner
- Qualified to degree level in civil engineering and / or construction or equivalent experience
- Good working knowledge of rail industry documentation and processes
- Ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team
- Ability to build relationships with key stakeholders at all levels
